The Emily Ratajkowski x Superga Capsule Collection launched just in time for spring. Emily, the brand's newest ambassador, has been a fan of the brand for over a decade and infused the capsule collection with a timeless, effortless, relaxed design inspired by her Italian heritage. Superga has been an enduring brand of interest for this new ambassador throughout her lifetime, wearing the brand on castings and photoshoots, exploring New York, and traveling abroad.
Emily chose Superga 2750, a style that was developed as the first Italian tennis shoe over 100 years ago by the brand's owner, and the Alpina, a trekking shoe back in the 1950s, to customize. It was important to her to honor the Italian heritage and timeless design of the brand.
"There is no other brand I’d rather partner with this year. Superga is a brand I’ve been wearing during all stages of my life and I am thrilled to be part of this campaign, especially since I’ve never designed my own footwear before. No matter the style of the sneaker, it goes with everything while providing a timeless look and comfort to my outfit everyday," said Emily Ratajkowski. She tweaked the styles to have the bindings in an off-white color and rounded the laces. "The 2750 is a classic shoe that I personally wear often so I wanted to keep the heritage of the shoe since it's been sold for over 100 years. There is also this label so consumers will always remember that these styles are a part of my collaboration."
Fans can shop the entire collection online and in select retailers.
