Swiss car-maker Elextra has announced that the all-electric Elextra EV will be faster than a Tesla Model S P100D.
The Model S broke records for being the first electric car to break 0-60 MPH in 2.3 seconds and Elextra says that its car will be able to do 0-62 in 2.3 seconds. The Elextra EV should have a working prototype by spring 2018 and sales will begin in 2019. With two electric motors and all-wheel drive, the top speed of the supercar will only be 155 MPH. However, with 680 horsepower, the Elextra EV will be able to cruise at 62 MPH for 373 miles.
Each Elextra EV will be hand-built in Stuttgart Germany. Only 100 super exclusive models will be made. With retro-Italian design features backed by forward-thinking technology, the Elextra EV will be a fierce competitor for Tesla's products.
