Bultaco is calling its new electric bike "the world's first moto-bike" because it features the same electric powertrain technology found in their motorcycles. The new bike is called the 'Bultaco Brinco' and it is essentially half motorcycle and half bicycle.
The Bultaco Brinco features a 2-kW motor and a 1.3-kWh lithium-ion battery. The battery is easy to remove and can be fully recharged in only about two hours. The bike is made for off-road riding and features 60Nm torque as well as combined traction. The bike also has three different riding modes, which can be adjusted based on terrain and desired speed. Perhaps the most impressive feature of the Bultaco Brinco is the addition of electric powertrain technology, which allows the bike to reach speeds of up to 37 mph.
