Looking at the Elda Chair, I am more than sure that you wouldn't have been able to tell that it can convert quite conveniently into a stepladder. It is so well-designed, that when functioning as a seat, it simply looks like a seat. Many modular pieces of furniture out there unfortunately look as though it serves two or more purposes, often making them look cheesy and cheap. Not the Elda Chair.
Designed by Elda Bellone and Davide Carbone of GSelect in collaboration with brand new company Scoope Design, the Elda Chair is made out of sustainable wood with a water-based paint finish and a 100% wool felt hood. When ready to be used as a ladder, the hood comes off and the chair folds out easily.
