The new Nike Holiday 2014 Elastico Superfly is designed for soccer players around the world who play small-sided games -- such as 5 v 5 or 7 v 7 -- on non-traditional surfaces such as concrete, wood and artificial surfaces. The shoe brings all the benefits of the Mercurial Superfly to the small-sided game.
This shoe has an unusually low profile that places the foot much closer to the ground than other small-sided soccer footwear. This allows for increased traction and speed, while giving players better ball control.
The shoe also has a flexible outsole that improves grip for better multi-directional movement. It comes in two different designs, one suited for hard surfaces like concrete and another one targeted towards turf and artificial grass use.
The Elastico Superfly is currently available for pre-order on Nike's official website, and will be available for full purchase starting October 9.
