The E-Njoint BV contains no tobacco, nicotine or Tetrahydrocannabinol, making it (theoretically) safe to inhale. The product panders to the pot smoking culture by mirroring the conical shape of a real joint. A cannabis leaf decorates the chrome plated tip, lighting up with every drag. The product is said to be 100% legal in Holland, though that legality varies across continents. The company's CEO, Menno Contant, explains, "Holland is well known in the world for its tolerant and liberal attitude toward soft drugs and the introduction of this new product clearly makes a statement."
Much like the e-cigarette, the e-joint could be beneficial for those who would like to reduce or retire their smoking habit.
