Patchwork tees, wide-legged shorts and deconstructed jackets are memorable staples from Edward Cuming's "Motion Sickness" collection. Based in Sydney, Australia, the designer is currently studying fashion at IED Barcelona.
Despite of being a student, Edward Cuming showcases his immense talent for design with his Spring/Summer 2014 lookbook that highlights his vanguard and fashion-forward menswear staples. When creating the line, the designer took inspiration from a three day expedition to the Sahara Desert that exposed him to extreme climate changes he had seldom experienced before.
Fusing deconstructed silhouettes with artful color manipulations, the designer creates modern pieces of wearable art. His masculine silhouettes are loosely based on traditional Moroccan wear and combine neutral fabrics with pops of kaleidoscopic hues.
