Created as an entry for the Prefab 20*20 competition the EcoMobi: Modular Housing System came out on top.
The EcoMobi: Modular Housing System was built as a home solution for 2 adults that was freestanding and prefabricated at 37 square metres.
Conceived to address the issues of urban density using urban design, this building took inspiration from the Eastern European apartment buildings that can easily bare extra loads on their roof.
Implications - Many individuals have growing concerns considering the health of the environment and the excessive amount of construction in various areas. Companies would be wise to incorporate more space-saving designs in their products in order to produce more eco-friendly options and appeal to this growing consumer base.
