Two of the most reputed eco-friendly aviation companies in Germany are banding together to develop and launch an eco-friendly aircraft that makes use of hydrogen fuel cell technology to allow for a phenomenal combination of power, range, cruise speed and zero emissions.
The product of a collaboration between Deutsche Aircraft and H2Fly, this eco-friendly aircraft will be capable of producing 4,024 horsepower and provide a maximum range of 1,850 kilometers at a cruising speed in the region of 520 km/h. These specs will essentially make this the most powerful hydrogen-driven aircraft ever created.
Capable of carrying up to 40 passengers, this particular eco-friendly aircraft represents a watershed moment in clean aviation, and may open the floodgates for similar hydrogen powertrains to become more ubiquitous in aircraft.
