The eco plant packaging concept created by Edmundas Jankauskas was designed as an alternative to the wasteful plastic packaging that houseplants are often sold in.
Rather than offer the concept brand's plants in plastic packaging or clay pots, it instead offers them in a packed cubic form that is surrounded by paper made from "processed fallen tree leaves collected in the forests of Lithuania." As the user waters their plant, the paper that surrounds it dissolves and helps it to grow – much like a fertilizer would.
Not only is this eco plant packaging concept friendly to the environment, it is also offered in an attractive cubic design that would make for excellent decor in the home.
