Sinuous Eco-Friendly Rooftops

The Park House

The Park House is an eco-friendly housing complex in the UK that contains an especially aesthetically-pleasing design feature--a single, sinuous green roof that covers all of the houses within the complex. The Park House is a project by Ushida Findlay Architects located in Preston.

The Park House will boast a number of other eco-friendly features as well, including solar power and the abundant usage of sunlight through windows and skylights. The Park House will also be built using materials sourced locally, and its signature green roof will only feature indigenous plants.

Each of the five homes in The Park House will have four floors, and the complex will include shared recreation spaces.
