Many women relish in being able to spend summer days in the countryside wearing country fashion for summer like cotton dresses and folk-inspired outfits.
The creative duo behind Ksenia Schnaider decided to take inspiration for their Pre-Spring 2016 collection in the relaxed looks of a countryside woman from Eastern Europe and realized that this style is full of well-known cliches. In order to combat these, Ksenia Schnaider combined classic tailoring, digital innovations and cultural heritage of Slavs in her collection for next season. This results in aesthetically unique clothes, fashion-forward and timeless at once.
The collection is full of digital prints based on traditional local embroidery patterns, pixelated and glitched designs by graphic designer Anton Schnaider. Same prints appear on hand-crafted minimal sneakers designed in collaboration with shoemaker Ali Saulidi. The summer country fashion lookbook was created in the Ukraine with local photographer Inna Franco and model Mariia Zubtsova.
