Finally, an earphone amplifier has been developed that enables you to hear your favorite tracks at a greatly increased volume. It's bad enough to have to switch from speakers to earbuds when you're sharing a space with other people, but when your personal sound system isn't sufficiently clear, the frustration may only mount.
Joseph Chehade and Bartosz Kowalski have thus created a tiny audio hub that's flat and measures less than 2 inches by 2 inches. An included cord connects the UAMP to your smartphone, tablet or laptop, and your headset plugs into the headphone amplifier. An integrated equalizer is color coded to enable you to set your preferences for bass, treble, streaming music and no EQ. You can even customize your own EQ with the UAMP.
