Dyson, the technology company best known for its innovative vacuum cleaners, has commissioned new buildings for the Dyson campus in Wiltshire, a small town in southwest England. Designed by London-based architecture firm Wilkinson Eyre, the new Dyson campus' buildings will feature a mirrored motif, with many of the building's complete exteriors being covered in giant plate glass mirrors.
Nestled into a wooded area in the rural town of Wiltshire, the Dyson campus' mirrored buildings will reflect the natural surroundings. Thus, the buildings will appear richly green in summer, with a vast palette of colors being reflected as the seasons change.
Beyond the pure attractiveness of the shining reflections, the mirrored motif also provides privacy for the sensitive and classified work that takes place on the Dyson campus.
