The Duro Olowu Fall Collection is Influenced by the 1920s Era

It is not often that a fashion designer would cite furniture as his or her inspiration behind a collection, yet that is exactly what Duro Olowu did when it came to his fall 2014 line. Celebrating the 10th anniversary of his brand in a unique way, Duro Olowu was specifically inspired by 1920s-era furniture designer Elizabeth Eyre de Lanux and her Dada set.

Full of vintage touches that have a feminine Parisian feel about them, the Duro Olowu Fall 2014 collection features an occurring pattern influenced by inlay woodwork, African artisan prints and even fur pockets on coats. Showing how much he has grown over the last 10 years, the Duro Olowu Fall 2014 collection is utterly gorgeous.
