HD Drone Racing Goggles

DJI Has Created Low Latency Googles for Drone Racers

DJI has created a pair of low latency HD goggles that were built for drone racers. The goggles are the company's inaugural first-person viewing transmission system or FPV system. With the pair, drone racers can access high definition imaging with low lag. The goggles also have a transmission range of 2.5 miles.

Three modes are offered on the headset, including a racing mode, a standard mode and an LED mode for low light situations. The pair is able to transmit to eight different channels all on 5.8Hz. The pair is able to respond at a similar rate of an analog pair. This puts it in a unique place in the industry, as one of the only digital pairs that can perform at a similar level to its analog counterpart.
