YDE fashions evoke a dreamy feeling of days gone by. The photography of the Spring 2009 collection is nothing less than glorious.
Designer Ole Yde uses misty filtering effects, neutral colours, and smoky lighting to create images that look as if they could have been taken in the 1930’s or 1940’s. Models, pale as alabaster, have early 1900’s hairstyles and pose with large single white flowers.
The clothing itself flashes back as well, with frills, flounces, polka dots, and feathers. Bows and babydoll dresses also fit into the YDE feminine fairytale theme.
