Brooklyn-based designers Vonnegut/Kraft worked in partnership with Slow and Steady Wins the Race on the new Dépaysement furniture collection. The new range boasts a minimalist design and highlights the product's upholstery. The designers created the fabric materials using Weft, which is a new tooling system that allows users the capability to design jacquard fabrications online and order their own creations on demand.
The Dépaysement collection is comprised of two benches, a screen and two ottomans. The formations of the offerings respond to the design cues that exist within the color palette, geometric patterns and upholstery, rather than the other way around. All of the pieces are held in place within a black wooden foundation.
