British engineer and designer Douglas Windeler has launched a Kickstarter campaign for his latest innovation: a modular, magnetic multi-tool that can be stacked (i.e., customized) to cater to a user's specific needs. The new product arrives following the success of Windeler's initial Kickstarter campaign, which was used to crowdsource funding for his first handheld tool dubbed 'The Windeler Multitool.'
The new handheld tool is made from aerospace-grade titanium and contains knives, pliers, scissors, and a case. While each tool presents its own innovative elements, the standout item within the "stack" is the new ultra-slim knife design. Named the Ti MINIM Knife, the new design comes equipped with a .9" nail-nick-opening Wharncliffe blade made from LC200N blade steel and features a non-locking slip joint construction.
