A two-person rocker is not a rare object by any means; however, the Double Rocking Chair comes off as captivatingly quirky. The reason for this is because it appears to be a play on the archetypal form of a single antique swaying seat, yet it incorporates its mirror image right next to it.
Paul Lemiski cut, carved, sanded and finished the beautiful piece from gorgeous Brazilian lacewood. It features graceful and slender arched components at its base, exquisitely sculpted armrests and a Windsor style of backrest with ergonomically bent wooden dowels that converge slightly at the base of each seat. Grooves have been cut out of the front edge of the Double Rocking Chair to invite a pair of people to sit down together.
