Pot-Implanted Tabletops

The Dot Porcelain Table Has a Built-In Piece of Dishware

Sweet and simple, the Dot Porcelain Table is a classic and contemporary piece of furniture with a subtle tweak. Instead of an unbroken and smooth surface, a pot appears to have been implanted permanently as a dishware that will always be there. Although this pot can accommodate just about anything, from buttons to small plants, the promotional pictures shows it filled with brown sugar cubes. This is particularly useful if it is placed in the kitchen.

The Dot Porcelain Table was designed by Marcial Ahsayane and Miriam Liebana. Made out of noble materials, it is supported on three wooden legs, which contrast nicely with the white porcelain top.

The Dot Porcelain Table was recently a selected object at the Interieur Design Awards 2012 Biennal in Kortrijk, Belgium.
