The Strong National Museum of Play located in New York is going to install the exciting Donkey Kong arcade cabinet that is set to measure about 20 feet in height. The museum notes that this is made possible with the help of Nintendo and when the installation is complete, it will actually be available for actual play for those that visit the museum.
It will be fully completed by June 30th and notably, the control interface is at a normal height so that it is actually accessible to the joystick and buttons. Additionally, this may be the tallest arcade cabinet yet, following the 16-foot NBA Jam cabinet and the similar Tetris cabinet that currently holds the world record.
