Lazerian started the Gerald paper dog art project by selling miniature templates of nine components that could be assembled by almost anyone who wanted a version for themselves.
Today, it is a wide-scale project of large paper sculptures consisting of 88 pieces each, all of which have been printed, designed and customized by a range of different artists to create a huge collection of very artistic pups. The same overall silhouette takes on extremely varying appearances based on the patterns, colors and styles with which they were made. As a symbol of loyalty and affection, the dog is a logo for the Lazerian design studio, infusing most projects with its ideals of heritage and artistic collaboration.
Collectors of art and design will want to get their hands on their own Gerald paper dog art.
