American design studio Peen Inc updates the Dino's Famous Chicken restaurant with a modern design that retains a retro tinge. The restaurant is led by four sisters from LA who were looking to honor the city whilst also celebrating their Greek family heritage.
This is the chain's first location and it is designed with inspiration from mid-century themes nodding to the 60s and 70s. The breeze blocks define the location with a light behind the porous walls to appear as if it is glowing from within. Preen Inc explains, "The challenge was to elevate the existing beloved chicken and burger joint by redesigning the interior and gently updating the exterior to empower our client to continue being a neighborhood beacon, not only serving patrons but their community at large."
