Uber plans to roll out its RideCheck capabilities to other countries soon.
If a safety issue occurs then the rider, as well as the driver, will be prompted to indicate if their situation is safe. If either the rider or driver is experiencing an issue and needs assistance, they are able to hit the emergency button in the app or hit the contact Uber Saftey Line button.
