The Detached cabin is a concept, envisioned by Greek architectural firm Panos Dragonas Christopoulou Architects, that aims to give residents a sense of solitude in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the big city. This tiny cabin is designed to be placed on the rooftop of an apartment block in Athens, and was conceived for the Minimum Structure art exhibit.
The Detached cabin concept will measure 9 square meters and include some very basic furniture including a raised sleeping area and a table. Solar panels could be used to generate basic electricity while a dry or composting matter would make the structure an even more eco-friendly affair.
The structure would be built from wood and offer gorgeous views of the surrounding city.
