Developed by Microsoft, the 'Designed on Surface' project is an artistic endeavor that highlights artists from all around the world. Starting in California, U.S.A, the first artist to be highlighted is POW! POW!'s Jasper Wong.
For its first installation, Microsoft appointed Wong to create a vibrant mural on a wall in Long Beach, California. Using Microsoft’s Surface Pro 4 to project his concept, Wong created a vibrant piece that displays a tiger and a human hybrid character alongside another hybrid human character with a dinosaur skull for a head. Rainbows, flowers and other intricate details are also included in the mural, all of which are bursting with color.
With Wong's piece said to center on young people being inspired to "do great things," the Designed on Surface project is off to a great start.
