Swiss specialty watchmaker Aquastar has officially unveiled the Deepstar II, a sleek, eye-catching timepiece inspired by the brand's own '60s-era dive watches.
The Deepstar II arrives in a 37mm 316L stainless steel case and presents a design that leverages original elements from vintage models. For example, the timepiece features a rotating bezel with a "no decompression" bezel with ceramic bearings and a cyclops-style mono-compax counter.
In terms of power, the Deepstar II comes equipped with a Sellita SW-290 automatic, which delivers a 38-hour power reserve. Of course, being a premium dive watch, the new unit also features 200M/656ft water resistance and a Tropic rubber strap. However, the waterproof strap can replaced with a Haroween leather option or a steel beads-of-rice bracelet, depending on the customer's preference.
