Taco Bell will launch a dedicated vegetarian menu across its United States Locations. The dedicated Vegetarian menu will be certified by the American Vegetarian Association, AVA. The fast-food chain will also launch a new campaign to get the word to customers, alongside a new menu with a green emblem to show its AVA approval. The fast food chain was testing vegetarian items earlier this year, in order to try-test items with consumers before an official launch.
The new menu items are the result of the brand looking to appeal to more health-focused consumers. The new vegetarian items include a Black Bean Quesarito and a Black Bean Crunchwrap Supreme. The two items are combined with two pre-existing vegetarian items to comprise the new menu.
Taco Bell's new vegetarian menu is titled the 'Vegetarian Favourites' menu and will give customers more choice when ordering a fast-casual meal.
