'Dead Secret Circle' Has Players Investigate and Avoid a Serial Killer

Set in Chicago in 1971, Dead Secret Circle tasks players with interrogating and investigating the victims of a serial killer in the hopes of finding out who the vicious murderer is. Developed by Robot Invader, Dead Secret Circle is a follow-up to the chilling Dead Secret and once again places players in the shoes of Patricia Gable on her investigation into a serial killer.

Unlike the prior game, this title confines Gable in a condemned apartment complex with seven people too poor or too stubborn to leave. Throughout the game, players will have to guide Gable away from the clutches of the laughing killer while also testing the their investigation skills. Searching the environment reminds of the original, but a large chunk of the investigation will be made through interrogating the various inhabitants of the apartment complex.

Built around psychological horror, mystery and tension, Dead Secret Circle puts players in a somewhat unwinnable setting and brutally tests their ability to decipher clues and interviews. The game features branching paths and can eventually lead to several different conclusions, not all of which will be pleasant.
