David Reynolds of Southampton, England has created a fleet of 20 legendary vessels with an investment of 10,000 hours of construction time, a quarter-of-a-million matchsticks and glue.
Authentic drawings were too expensive for the ambitious model maker. Over the ten years it took to construct this collection of ships, David Reynolds created his own construction drawings from whatever information he could lay his hands on. The end result is a stunning armada of ships that are each about two feet long.
