British illustrator David Murray has brought streetwear and sci-fi together for his latest project. Utilizing iconic Star Wars characters, the famed artist has painted galactic personas wearing popular streetwear labels.
For this series, David Murray drew both old and new Star Wars characters. Filled with color and accurate logos, the paintings display artistic renderings of actual garments by each illustrated brand. In this series, onlookers are exposed to Boba Fett in Astrid Andersen, Chewbacca in furry Hood By Air, C-3PO in Dries Van Noten, Darth Maul in bright red Givenchy, Darth Vader in Craig Green, Jar Jar Binks in Yeezy and a Stormtrooper in equally monochromatic Balenciaga.
The entire series is posted on Murray's Tumblr page for Star Wars and streetwear fans to lust over.
