Dark Protocol is a limited-time event that introduces a new game mode called Killswitch. In this mode, players have to secure AI nodes and use the on-site Forge to create a swarm of synthetic soldiers called Geists, who will fight alongside anyone that spawns them. The mode is played as 12v12 across four maps: Redacted, Manifest, Hourglass, and Spearhead. The mode offers a tense and thrilling experience, where players have to deal with the unpredictable threat of the Geists, who can switch allegiance at any moment. The event also rewards players with exclusive cosmetics and items for completing challenges.
