The Dark Knight Themed Home Theatre Puts Viewers Into the Movie

A Dark Knight-themed home theatre is being built in Greenwich, Connecticut, that spans 12,000 square feet and includes a 180 inch screen with lifesize Bat suits on both sides. There is another life-sized Bat suit that is backlit on the opposite side of the room to go along with the other six Bat suits located around the home theatre.

Some other interesting aspects of the room include a private stainless steel elevator with a glow-in-the-dark bat symbol, overhanging winged gargoyles, a fake secret tunnel exit that was designed to appear to be roughly 30 feet long and home theatre chairs that were race car-inspired.

The home theatre is set to be completed in November of 2012 and is estimated to have cost around $2 million.
