Celebrating its 10 year anniversary, the Dansk SS12 magazine is covered by models Freja Beha Erichsen and Juliane Gruner who have undergone avant-garde transformations at the hands of Danish artist Cathrine Raben Davidsen. Although their looks can already be regarded as futuristically experimental, Davidsen has enhanced that aesthetic through the use of artistically placed brush strokes and somber paint colors.
The Dansk SS12 magazine covers were shot by Christian Brylle and Aitken Jolly respectively. Dark and surreal, they capture the true essence of "the world’s most independent fashion magazine." Hitting newsstands on February 2, 2012, the Dansk SS12 magazine will catch the eyes of passersby instantly. The shoot was styled by fashion editor Anders Solvsten Thomsen.
