The Dami series is a stunning collection of furniture, each of which features an uncommon grid exterior. Inspired by basket-like forms, the word 'dami' means 'put in' in Korean, which is quite appropriate. Each piece in the series is completely hollow, inviting people to put things inside of it.
Created by South Korean designer Seung Yong Song, the Dami series is comprised of a stool or side table, bench or buffet, table lamp and floor lamp. Intriguingly versatile, the Dami Series embraces the visual beauty and structure of Korean traditional grille designs. This aesthetic is not only lightweight, it is also sturdy and durable. The Dami series is made out of a mix of eco-friendly materials called Valchromat and CNC, which helps meld modernity with traditional beauty.
