These Danone Dairy and Plants Blend infant formulas are a new lineup of products being launched in Europe to fulfill increasing parental demand for plant-based varieties. The products are the first of their kind to incorporate nutrients found in both breastmilk and plants with more than half of the protein derived from soy. The products also contain key ingredients from dairy like lactose, casein and whey protein to further enhance the nutritional value.
Vice President of Global Plant-Based Strategy and Business Acceleration Manuela Borella commented on the new Danone Dairy and Plants Blend infant formulas saying, "As a mother of four, I appreciate parents want the very best nutrition for their baby’s healthy growth and development. At Danone, we also recognise many parents want to introduce plant-based, vegetarian and flexitarian options into their baby’s diet, while still meeting their baby’s specific nutritional requirements. Our new Dairy and Plants Blend baby formula has been developed with these needs top of mind."
