Cyclist Max Lippe is Taking on 2800 Miles with The Help of Technology

As part of a publicity stunt by Google, cyclist Max Lippe is making the 2,800 mile trek from New York to CES 2018 in Las Vegas. Lippe left from Union Square in New York on December 31, 2017 and expects to arrive on the Las Vegas strip in just 10 days. This may seem like an almost insurmountable task, but thanks to some technological help from the Electron Wheel and Google Assistant, Lippe should be able to easily handle the adventure.

The Electron Wheel supplied to Lippe is a unique piece of tech that boasts the ability to "electrify your bike in 30 seconds," and simply replaces the traditional front wheel of a bicycle. With the wheel, Lippe will be given the advantage of active hill assist, and a top speed of 20 mph on full assist mode. Google Assistant is the second piece of tech being that will aid Lippe on his trip and boasts full integration with the Electron Wheel as well as basic navigation.
