A new breakthrough using internal gyroscopes means society can now have cycling cyborgs, as demonstrated by Dr. Guero's creation.
Dr. Guero has worked at Boston Dynamics, AITS and the Osaka University. A product of this nature has been attempted before however this is the first on this scale, as the cyborg is able to cycle completely independently. The robot can even pause to walk around and then start off again. It does this by lifting its leg over and placing one foot on the pedal followed by the other.
How it works, is the built in gyroscope sends steering commands to keep the robot upright. The robot can reach speeds of up to 10kph, and can be purchased for $2,200 dollars.
