Modern Multi-Tiered Tables

The Cuts Table Features Four Tabletops of Varying Heights

This unique piece of furniture is Philippe Nigro's Cuts Table.

Instead of having a flat top, the Cuts Table has four different flat areas that vary in height. In the middle of the table is a cross pattern designed to hold books, magazines and whatever else you choose to put in its cracks.

The Cuts Table doesn't follow tradition (table tradition, that is), and that's okay. Modern families don't necessarily gather around the dinner table every night to eat, so a table with a top that varies in size isn't the worst thing in the world. Also, the slits cut into the Cuts Table seem to be the perfect size for holding smartphones, tablets and other electronics.
