Cubiio is a compact laser engraver that was created by the Taipei City, Taiwan-based startup company 'Muherz.'
The engraving device was designed to be lightweight, small, and visually appealing – a goal which Muherz succeeded in bringing to life. Its laser-engraving functions are supported through an app that can actually control the device, and are omnidirectional – giving the device the ability to replicate almost any design the user is looking for. The Cubiio is able to engrave and cut a variety of materials, including paper board, cardboard, fabric, felt, leather, wood, non-transparent acrylic, and metal. It is also able to engrave chosen designs onto food.
The Cubiio gives designers and artists more control over what they can create and prototype in the privacy of their own home and studios, due to its accessible design.
