After making touch screen texting a breeze with their clever swiping patterns, the texting gurus over at Swype are hoping its next big thing will make mistaken autocorrects a thing of the past.
The company is calling its new invention 'Living Language.' This new system automatically adds words to your dictionary that are trending globally, recognizing the fluidity and flow of modern language. As new words and terms become popular and inserted into our common lexicon, you'll find them automatically when you try and type them in. The new system will also flag certain words without autocorrecting that users may or may not want to change for grammatical and/or naughty reasons.
What this means for hilarious autocorrects is that everyone has seen at one time or another remains to be seen. Here's hoping that we can all type faster and more efficiently on our touch screen phones while still having a cheap laugh at someone else's embarrassing typing expense.
Swype is free to all Android smartphone users, and 'Living Language' is included in the latest update.
