Crafty Beasts Brewing Company Makes "Ale" for Dogs with Food Waste

Crafty Beasts Brewing Company makes non-alcoholic brews for dogs that treat beloved canine companions to all-natural Canadian-sourced bone broth with fruits, vegetables and proteins. These canned refreshments for dogs make the most of ingredients like diverted food waste from beef, seafood and fruits, and vegetables leftover from human markets. Currently, about 60% of the ingredients come from safe food waste sources and the company has its eye on upping that percentage to 100% in the future.

Catch Pumpkin Ale, Fetch Pale Ale and Unleashed Blueberry Ale are the three canine-friendly alcohol-free brews available. Cindy James of Halifax, the co-owner and president of Crafty Beasts Brewing Company, was inspired to develop these dog-friendly canned bone broth "ales" after visiting a dog bar in Croatia serving similar drinks.
