This cozy office looks more like a home than it does a working space.
Designed by CPG Architects for the food company 'Newman's Own' in Connecticut, this office is quite large at 22,000 square feet but has an intimate and welcoming aesthetic. The first floor of this office was designed to promote collaboration and has a kitchen, dining room, test kitchen and a courtyard that the company uses for events or to relax. The rest of the office features high ceilings and comfortable seating for employees. The cubicles in the office are far from confined as they offer privacy in a warm, brightly lit room. The most interesting feature of this office is the lounge area that has walls adorned with Egyptian art motifs.
This piece of architecture sets a wonderful precedent for making an office space feel like a home while making employees more comfortable in the process.
