The Cotswolds Amaro No 1 whiskey liqueur is the first of its kind from the distillery that kicks off its Amaro Whisky Liqueurs range that will offer consumers a new kind of product to enjoy. The liqueur is reported to have herbal and floral notes with hints of peach with black tea and orange on the nose, while the palate profile is said to be thick and creamy thanks to vanilla, marmalade and spiced honey notes. The product is inspired by the amaro Italian herbal liqueur, hence the name and recipe, and is recommended to be served chilled or on ice as a digestif.
Cotswolds Distillery Founder Daniel Szor spoke on the new Cotswolds Amaro No 1 whiskey liqueur saying, "I have always loved amaro and wanted to create Cotswolds Distillery’s own amaro liqueur. The vanilla, spice and citrus complement our single malt whisky and we hope our delicious digestif will become a favourite after-dinner drink."
