Venezuelan Enrique Luis Sardi’s design, the Cookie Cup, lets eco-conscious coffee lovers drink from an edible cup. Sardi teamed up with socially responsible Italian coffee company, Lavazza, to bring the eco-friendly Cookie Cup protoype and packaging design to reality.
The biscotti-like Cookie Cup saves on disposable cup waste and non-disposable cup clean up. An insulating, waterproof icing sugar keeps heat and coffee safely inside the edible Cookie Cup until it is consumed.
Too bad they didn’t use the Cookie Cup for the Lavazza ad in the video above. It’s perfect for a coffee island.
