The converted Sprinter van has almost all the functions of a regular home, including a stove, a refrigerator, a sink, storage cabinets, a bed, work space and a hanging closet. Some of these features are retractable for the sake of saving space -- the double sized bed folds back up into the wall and the work area is a slotted piece of wood that can take the place of the bed when needed. The filmmaker also uses solar energy and a battery to store power -- making the converted van more energy efficient and sustainable.
