Featuring massive pre-fabricated components and huge skylights that dramatically decrease the building's need for artificial internal lighting, the Convention Center of Aragon is reducing solar heat gain while making the most of natural light. Even the building's exterior is designed to reflect sunlight with reflective panels and ceramic finishing, while its windows are fitted with mechanical screens that let light in but keep heat out.
