Huawei has launched a breakthrough wireless connection technology that is designed to be able to combine many of the traits of WiFi and Bluetooth whilst offering performance that is significantly faster with reduced delay, far more possible connections and vastly reduced power consumption.
Huawei's 'Nearlink' wireless connection technology is said to be able to offer a 60 percent reduction in power consumption, six times higher speed, a fraction of the delay and as many as 10 times as many network connections as existing technologies. The company states that its technology is poised to offer applications in a wide variety of segments that include electric motoring, smart manufacturing, smart homes and regular consumer electronics.
The company says 'Nearlink' will also be embedded into its products including smartphones and operating systems.
