At first glance (and second and third), the 'Concrete Chesterfield Sofa' does not look like it was molded out of concrete. Instead, it looks exactly as comfortable as a well-worn leather couch would look like -- right down to the carefully formed bum prints. Yet it is, in fact, carved out of concrete.
Designed for the 100% Design exhibition in London by Gray Concrete, the Concrete Chesterfield Sofa demonstrates their mastery of molding techniques. In deciding to commit fully to their creation, they even included a concrete 50 pence behind one of the cushions.
